A ZEEKR 8X exhibition vehicle, Shanghai to Los Angeles

A note on the windshield read “Urgent!!! NVIDIA summit.” The vehicle had not launched. The event already had a date. A fellow forwarder entrusted the Shanghai-to-Los Angeles port leg to me.

An important vehicle. Attention to the whole assignment.

20 IBCs / 20GP

20 IBCs in a 20GP. Start with the final row.

When a customer asks whether 20 IBCs will fit, I ask for their dimensions first. In this loading experience, the 1200 × 1000mm footprints needed the right arrangement. The row beside the doors needed particular attention to height.

Shanghai → Vladivostok → St Petersburg

The port is not the finish line: plan securing for Russia’s rail leg.

My scope covered booking, stuffing and securing in Shanghai, sea transport to Vladivostok and onward rail to St Petersburg. The cargo transferred successfully to rail, and I received no request for re-securing. The practical lesson is to consider the onward rail requirements before the container is packed at origin.

This crated UN3394 cargo had a primary hazard of Division 4.2 and a subsidiary hazard of Division 4.3. I arranged Shanghai origin handling and the sea leg to Vladivostok; the consignee arranged onward rail. The cargo arrived, transferred to rail and completed delivery. I received no request for re-securing or other adverse feedback.

SERVICE SHOWCASE · DG REPACKING

When packaging needs change, the service should respond.

Some shipments need more than ocean freight. Before dispatch, the shipper may need a different packaging format. I help coordinate those requirements, considering the proposed repacking work alongside the onward transport plan.
