REX FORWARDING

SERVICE SHOWCASE · DRUMS / IBCs · PACKAGING COORDINATION

When packaging needs change, the service should respond.

The destination matters. So does how the cargo gets ready.

Some shipments need more than ocean freight. Before dispatch, the shipper may need a different packaging format. I help coordinate those requirements, considering the proposed repacking work alongside the onward transport plan.

01 / THE REQUIREMENT

A packaging request deserves a considered response.

A request to change drum-packed cargo to an IBC format starts with a practical customer need. Responding to it means discussing the product, the proposed container, the operating conditions and what needs to happen after the packaging work.

You do not need to arrive with every part of the plan already solved. Start with what you have and what you need to change. I can help clarify the request and coordinate the scope available, so the packaging discussion and the transport discussion remain connected.

01

Define the requirement

Identify the current packaging, the requested format and the planned onward movement.

02

Match the operating conditions

Equipment availability is a starting point; suitability depends on the material and the proposed work.

03

Connect with transport

Changes to package quantities, weights and supporting information belong in the onward shipping discussion.

02 / ON-SITE EQUIPMENT

See the equipment behind the discussion.

The photographs show a transfer pump, connected hoses, weighing equipment and an IBC. They give a practical view of the equipment involved, without treating a photograph as proof that every product can be handled.

Transfer pump and hoses

The scene shows pumping equipment and hoses connected with containers. Equipment selection for a new request still depends on the actual material and operating requirements.

Weighing equipment

Clarify whether the requirement concerns container capacity, net mass per package or the quantity to be delivered. The equipment photograph illustrates this part of the discussion; it does not establish a performance specification.

IBC container details

The proposed container is part of the plan. Its specification, material and suitability need to be reviewed alongside the product information, rather than selected by appearance alone.

03 / WORKING TOGETHER

Bring the requirement. Let’s define the next step.

  1. 01

    Understand the cargo and packaging

Share the product name, available SDS, current packaging photographs and the format you need. Flag anything that is not yet known.

  2. 02

    Confirm the available scope

Discuss the material, proposed container and operating conditions, then clarify the work, responsibilities and information needed before making arrangements.

  3. 03

    Connect the onward shipment

If ocean freight is also required, consider the packaging change alongside booking, documents and shipment milestones. Confirm each part of the requested scope separately.

Start with your packaging requirement.

Manufacturers, exporters and forwarding partners can begin with the information already available. We can discuss the cargo and the requested change before developing a service arrangement.

Discuss repacking and shipping

Start with the information you have

  • 01Product name and available SDS
  • 02Current packaging, quantity and photographs
  • 03Requested packaging format and specification
  • 04Target mass per package or other delivery requirements
  • 05Requested timing and any onward shipping needs

Discuss the scope with Rex

I coordinate the initial plan and key issues. Business operations are handled through THANKSTART; operations colleagues manage routine bookings, documents and milestone updates.

This is a service showcase, not a complete operating record or completion certificate for a particular shipment. Repacking availability depends on the material, packaging, facility and applicable requirements. Equipment photographs do not establish credentials, performance or suitability for all cargo. Classification, packing and acceptance remain subject to the current edition of applicable regulations, carrier review and port requirements. Confirm before shipment.
